today is wear purple day in support of all the LBGT youth so i decided to talk about what else sexuality! i honestly believe that sexuality is subjective and you can fall in love with anyone. while i am a card carrying homosexual (its sparkly too and came with a cheetah print holder because the gays are fierce honey) i have admitted that i could marry a man more than likely for like his insurance benefits or money. we would never have sex and there wouldnt be a complete emotional connection hey we would be married whatever that means nowadays.
sexuality is more than sex it is the emotional connections and feelings that you can build with a person. its easy for me to fall in love with women because of my nature. people dont believe that you are born gay but guess what you are. i dont know any men who woke up one morning and said "hey i think ill suck a dick today!" you may repress the feeling your whole life but it is something that is always inside of you from day one on this earth. the physical part of sexuality is what initially attracts you to someone. when some of you see uhh lets say lance gross you may have this ohyeslawdamercy reaction. i feel that way about amber rose (i met her and almost died she is so fine...but not too bright) and thats what works for you. sexuality can often be fluid this is where bisexuality comes in. personally i dont believe in that but do you boo boo. its just that natural physical instinct when you see someone. you just know if you are gay straight bisexual whatever. sometimes people switch teams as a result of their interactions with the opposite sex.....this is a difficult place because you have to wonder were they always having these feelings or did they just get fed up? this usually only happens to women and i feel the feelings had to always be there because vagina is an interesting and complicated place to find yourself and then there is the falling in love part. anyone can have sex with anyone but emotions are the heart of sexual orientation.
falling for someone and relationships are where your orientation comes into play. the spark between two women or two men is completely different from a man and a woman because the nature of the two people is more closely related. women can provide each other that understanding that a man cannot. two men can recognize attitudes and opinions in each other because they are of the same mind. this can also work against you when emotions are involved because one woman is crazy two women is a disaster when that volcano explodes. men are not meant to be monogamous so gay males are often seen as promiscuous but thats just males. straight men cheat so when you have two men the situation gets even more busy.
now the sex is a big part because of you dont like vagina you dont like it. you dont like dick you dont like it. thats not gonna change anything. i mean a lot of guys get head from other guys....in prison just kidding but like ive always said sex is sex. its a nut its great. we all love oreos.....or do we?
as the world changes we find ourselves with a variety of dating options. interracial dating is something that doesn't come up often in my choices but it is often a topic of discussion because of the fact that i attend an HBCU. while our student population is becoming more diverse we are still not at a balance.
seeing as how light i am its pretty obvious that there is a nice little melting pot of races brewing in my DNA. i love all my family members black, white, asian, and hispanic. this may be the case for i don't believe in interracial dating. its not a racist thing but in my bias opinion black people are the most beautiful creatures to walk this earth ; but also its the principle. historically the black family unit has been disjointed from a variety of factors many stemming from slavery. for such a long time blacks could not get legally married and black women were raped by their masters. black men were viewed as virile sex objects and our still viewed as such in the media. every time there is a major black male model is he incredibly dark and muscular. American blacks have been so affected by color that its ridiculous. too many successful men define themselves by their possession one of them being the woman on his arm. how many times have you seen a black man with a non black woman? and if she is black she is very light. i had this conversation with my biracial father and he is also very much against interracial dating.i think my biggest issue are the reasons that black men give for not dating black women. when you say that they have attitudes and are too needy and lack education what you are really saying is my balls arent big enough to handle a woman who could possibly be my equal. they say black women dont know how to take care of a man no you just want a mother. speaking of your mother by saying you dont like black women that is a slap in the face to your mother. when i was working at a well known department store that is far from cheap a black man came in with his white wife and she paid for everything. im pretty sure had this been a black woman the situation would have been totally different. but what this situation really represented to me was this is my white woman who keeps me.
granted there are some birdish black women who would not qualify as good wives shit most of them shouldnt even be allowed to be counted as women with the activities they engage in but this doesnt mean that all black women are the same. this is also true of black men. yes there are plenty of "no good aint shit niggas" but there are also plenty of good black men with education and careers who know how to treat a woman like a lady granted that she has presented herself in such a manner that earns that title. most women are so caught up in dating that bad boy image that they ignore the regular dude that would treat them better than anyone else ever has.
im not saying i wouldnt marry a white woman because i believe in falling in love with a person for who they are on the inside.....she just wouldnt be my first choice. i want to build a strong black family because for whatever reason black people dont like to get married to each other but they damn sure will marry someone white. im not against people who date outside their race im against people who purposely discriminate against their own kind. if you are dating an asian have it be because they are a good person who you fell in love with but not because you bypassed the black woman because you assumed she was a neck rolling attitude having hoochie. dont look past that black man just because you assume he is trifling and has a whole bunch of kids so you go to that puerto rican dude with the long wavy hair ( dont even get me started on people who say they only wanna marry someone who has distinctive white features like "good hair" or light eyes good hair is any hair that grows on your head anywhere else is what can be considered "bad hair" like this lady with this mustache on the metro and her shit is lined up like wtf are you serious and dont even get me started on girls who dont ahem trim the hedges that shit is disgusting i refuse to choke and die on a stray pubic hair just because youre scared to wax but im wayyy off topic right now) but dont be surprised when you get funny looks. there are so many good people to date and i dont believe its limiting yourself by only dating inside your race. we need to stand together as a community that has already suffered so much separation from a variety of factors that we need to work on coming together. and anyway what are you gonna do when someone has to comb your biracial babies hair? her white mother is not gonna know what to do and what about greens? she can cook salt pork or turkey necks! and that white husband is gonna be hella confused when you come to bed looking like the taliban with two scarves on because you dont wanna mess up your edges. #imjustsaying

this song (love hurts by nivea...not break up although i can see why you would think that) didn't get much play but i love it. anyway at some point all relationships come to an end. especially now being in our twenties you are still having fun and falling in love happens a little too often and sometimes it doesn't end well. this is where things get sticky. you're with someone and you think its perfect then bam next thing you know you're changing that relationship status to single and the tears wont stop. your first instinct may be to drive past that niggas house and bust all the windows out his car and then go to his job and tell his boss hes been stealing then get your homegirls and fuck up his new girl but these are not the right responses
step one is to get rid of everything that reminds you of them. its hard but you either gotta throw it out, sell it, give it away something but going to sleep every night with that teddy bear that he gave you for your anniversary last year is not going to make anything better. all the letters, cards, and texts have got to go. now i clothes and jewelry are a different story....sell that shit! if that nigga broke your heart you better make a profit from it. this is hard but its like a renewal. these physical items are anchoring you the past and hold bad juju. you need to release them.
next cut off all communication. delete on facebook, unfollow on twitter, no text, email, calls NADA! and yall better not be still having sex. if you truly want to get over this person you cant still run to them every minute because you will never be able to disconnect them from your heart. yall are not in a relationship anymore so stop acting like it.
get you a freakum dress grab your girls and go out! whip your hair back and forth (im sorry i just watched that video and she went hard as hell) staying in bed eating cookie dough listening to mary j blige isnt doing anything but making you fat and decreasing your chances of getting a new man. go out and have some fun. you are still desirable and sexy so go show off those newly single cakes and let a fine man buy you a drink or three.
find something to occupy your time. read a book, take up a hobby. do something to keep your mind off that person and also better yourself. explore an interest or catch up with friends that you neglected while you were lost in loveland.
now it is my belief that the best way to get over one man is to get under a new one and i did this recently just to remind myself that what one didn't want another one will. while this isnt always the best approach it worked for me. it may not for you if you're the sensitive type. if you are then you need to stay single for a little while and give yourself a chance to evaluate what type of relationship and mate you want and what to do the next time around.
time heals all wounds. it will take a little time but you will get over that jerk and find someone who will make you happy.

let the church say amen now pass the collection plate. all the ushers put on your white gloves and act like nazis about some seats. pastor stand in the pulpit and lead your flock then go sleep with the deacons wife. ok not all churches are like this but you see it at far too many. one thing black people love is church. you cant tell them anything about their jesus and often times people use their religion as the basis for their lifestyle choices and beliefs. personally i favor spirituality over organized religion. spirituality is your personal experience with whatever higher power you believe in. it is your personal communication, devotion, and beliefs. religion is someone elses. the concept of religion and church is the gathering of people to discuss what someone else has put together and passed down to other. im no theologian but thats my take. i grew up in a new thought christian church that pushed the metaphysical understanding of God beyond what is simply on paper. no shade but i just cant get with the dyed in the wool cool water baptist or lutherans who basically give you a list and do's and donts so you can either go to heaven or hell. personally i dont believe heaven and hell are physical places that you are doomed to spend eternity in just because you broke a commandment. i believe the body is a vessle and your soul continues. the bible was not written by God it was written by man and therefore it is not meant to be taken literally. if so then you wouldnt be wearing those cotton and linen blends because it breaks down several rules that we dont follow. if you havent noticed its the history of the hebrew people and the interpretation of alleged events that occurred during that time. religion and believes change over time hence catholic and protestant beliefs, reform jews, and the nation of islam versus true islam.
im not saying that any religion is wrong. even religions such as voodou and santeria which people typically associate with pagan rituals is actually a religion and the practices are believed to bring the practitioners to a higher understanding of their religion. my main issue with church and religion is when people use it to push their personal agenda and spread hate. there is a such thing as separation of church and state but often this is forgotten especially in matters such as abortion and gay marriage. as someone who is for the most part pretty liberal i do not allow my religious beliefs to cloud my better judgment. while when i make personal decisions i consider how my own soul and conscience will be affected i am in no position to tell someone else how to live their life. no one is perfect except our creator but it seems to me that many people from rush limbaugh to that old lady on the last pew seem to forget that. there is a freedom of religion in this country for a reason but no one seems to realize that. everyone was in a flux that kennedy was the first roman catholic president or the possibility that obama attended an islamic school in jakarta. who gives a good fuck? hell who gives a bad fuck? your religion is your religion there is no stated official religion in the US because we are supposed to be able to practice our beliefs in private and the government is supposed to create laws that govern society and have nothing to do with what your personal God believes.
my point i guess is this.....WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU TO TELL SOMEONE HOW TO LIVE THEIR LIFE OR JUDGE SOMEONE FOR WHO GOD HAS CREATED THEM TO BE. jesus loved all men who ate with tax collectors and prostitutes; even prayed for forgiveness for those who crucified him. so how can someone who claims to live the bible and be saved even form your mouth to spew hatred toward anyone? thats usually why i dont go to church i cannot stand to see someone use God as a defense for what they believe is right or wrong. love is stronger than hate so how can you tell someone that they are wrong for who they love simply because that person is of the same gender. thats not very christian like of you now is it. who are you to tell that scared little girl that was raped that she shouldnt abort her baby? are you going to raise it and provide her the emotional and financial support that is necessary? dont worry ill wait......
hypocrisy is the biggest issue. i highly doubt that God directed you to kill someone based on their race. many sects of fundamental mormanism did not believe that african americans could go to heaven and when they did begin to believe this they stated that it was in order to serve the white man. how can a race that has been repressed form their mouths against anyone knowing what it feels to be discriminated against. i would never equate the civil right movement for african americans to the civil rights movement for homosexuals because the issues are not the same but still as a people that had to fight for basic human rights we should understand the struggle for the simple right just to get married or give a child a home. how can you believe that it is better for a child to be bounced from foster care to foster care being lost in the system than it is to have them be raised by a loving same sex couple? i believe in God but i don't think American money should say "in God we trust" nor do i believe that it should be in the pledge of allegiance. and all of you who are on this illuminati devil worshiper shit need to read a fucking book no literally go read a book on the history of free masonry and what the illuminati really is. do you know who the Bilderberg Group is? i didn't think so. that's who you need to be worried about not Jay-Z
love will always drive out hatred and fear. i am in no position to tell anyone that what they believe because im damn sure not perfect. i dont believe in baptist teachings but i wouldnt attack someone for it. i only believe in attacking those who use what they believe in to bring down others. the nation of islam is a whole story i wont get into but read malcolm x. we often give our religious leaders more credit than they deserve. they are mere men just like you. Jesus was man just a highly evolved man. when you commune with God that is the presence that you need to focus on because that will save your soul not killing gays or blacks.

teen pregnancy
ok technically im not a teenager anymore but im close enough. and its crazy that sometimes i can be the oldest person in a room and the only one that doesnt have a child. it seems that nowadays everyone has a kid. 16 & pregnant and teen mom are two of my favorite shows just for the sheer stupidity of these girls. and it baffles me that even with shows like this there are still young girls getting pregnant. you know good and damn well that at 16 hell even 21 you dont need a damn baby. children are a major major huge responsiblity and your life will never be the same after you pop out one of those crumb snatchers. i love love love babies but i like $1 drinks at Pure even more. you cant well you shouldnt drink when youre pregnant and when you finally have the little munchkin you have to find someone to watch them! and that $1 that could be going to a vodka sour has to go to diapers. idk about you but my eggs will be ripe for awhile and id rather relax after a long week with a 7 and 7 not a crying baby and fighting with my mom to watch her grandchild even though its not her responsibility. i worry about a lot of my friends because they have unprotected sex and i tell them time and time again if you get knocked up im pushing you down the stairs. there are too many methods of contraception. i can understand not liking condoms but you should still use them for a variety of reasons (im campaigning to have unprotected sex listed as a form of suicide) even if you dont want to use them there is the patch, the pill, the shot, nuvoring a million and one methods of birth control. i took the pill for 5 years and yes i didnt always remember to take it but i would always take it as soon as i remembered. they tell you to take it at the same timeso that you remember it doesnt have any actual reasonor make it work any differently. this was before everybody had a blackberry and you could you know set an alarm! do something write it on your ceiling so its thefirst thing you see when you wake up in the morning. put the pack next to your toothbrush! because quiet as it kept your friends love your kids but they do get sick of having to drag them with yall everytime you wanna go anywhere. or sitting at home waiting on someone to come get your kids so you can go to the club. and dont even get me started on baby daddy drama. i mean this goes for guys too wrap it up because that bitch you only kinda like guess what if she comes up pregnant you are stuck with her crazy ass for at least 18 years.
condoms and birth control pills are cheaper than diapers and onesies. if you dont wanna tell your mom you dont have to. especially if you are over 18 which pretty much everyone reading this is. you can go to your doctor, student health center, or planned parenthood and recieve free or discounted birth control. ( why is it called planned parenthood? if youre there more than likely its to take care of an unplanned pregnancy) also thats another thing i am completely prochoice but abortions are expensive and can have long term effects on your body not to mention the emotional trauma. abstinence is the best choice but uhh yea right i do know quite a few girls who are waiting and yea thats cute for you but i dont know that life. i only have advice for those of you getting dicked down on a regular basis.

ok technically this post is about may/december romances but i love the song february love by the dream so oh well its my blog, my titles anywhore lets keep it moving.
being in your twenties you often find yourself engaged in romances with older people. it doesnt always happen on purpose but for some reason we always get approached by older men and women. ive been told by several people that i look 15 so im wondering are they pedophiles or what? while they may still be in their twenties i find my self with ppl who are kicking 30 in the ass as well do many of my other friends. there is a fine line in finding the appropriate age gap though. if you are 28 wtf are you doing with someone 17? what do yall talk about freestyle fridays? you just want someone who wont notice your shortcomings that a woman in your age group will easily notice. perhaps you want a girlfriend who wont hold you accountable for your actions and will take any attitudes or inappropriate actions just because you are their older boo.
we dont actively seek out older mates but it seems to just happen. i think its because we have a certain standard that our fellow age cohorts just dont meet. idk i know i date older women because they have more to talk about; they know more about relationships and can handle their emotions; and i like someone with a job, their own place, and a car. someone 26 is more likely to have these things than a 21 year old. also the most obvious reason the sex is on point. im just being honest but they've been getting it in for quite some time so they have perfected their techniques (can i get a testimony?) we all find ourselves in the same situation. our companions believe (wrongly) that just because they are older they can either A) treat us like children B) play us because we're young so therefore we dont know anything or C) not treat it like a real relationship because they couldnt see themself being serious with someone so young. my question is if you didnt want to be bothered with someone younger who consequently has had different life experiences why are you upset when they say they are going to the club with their friends. i just turned 21 so of course im still trying to get it in. look grandpa youve been in the club scene for awhile so you know what its like to have that new legal freedom. if you want someone who cant do it with no hands (why does that song go so hard every girl i know as soon as it comes on they turn into a magic city professional) i suggest you try someone in your age group.
the most irritating situation that comes up in these matchings is the being treated like a child. if we are having a discussion and you say youre too young you wouldnt understand you are simply acknowledging the fact that you are the one thats dating down and couldnt get anyone in your age group. perhaps you could but maybe you are trying to recaputure those last few days of your youth and got tired of fucking girls with new jack swing pussy. but why make light of our age differences? obviously you like me so what does it matter how old i am? also never try to lie to me or get over on me assuming that because im younger i havent seen or heard these same stories before. everyone of my friends has an older sibling who is close to the age of the people we're dating so we know what people in your age group are thinking and doing.
the hardest point is that you often have to question how serious the relationship is to them. they may see you as something to do or a cute little thing to occupy their time why they look for a serious relationship. this can be hard because you may have settled into a certain set of emotions for this person and the relationship may be very real to you. this is where the games and the lies come into play. they just wanna keep their young tenderoni in check while they look for the real mrs. right that they can settle down with. if you find yourself smitten with this older person it can hurt to discover that they dont see you as a long term situation.
i just dont see myself settling down with someone my age idk why im just not interested. i prefer ready for the world to chris brown and wu tang clan to waka flacka. if we have similar interest and can carry on a good conversation my age should be a null and void issue. i also know people who are older than me and are seriously lacking in any cultural experiences and therefore i come off as the older one which can be very irritating. i know for a fact that when im 27 my girlfriend or hopefully wife will not be anywhere near 21.

Frankenstein
so today i came to the conclusion that i need to become dr frankenstein in order to create the mate that is suitable for me. too many times we find ourselves talking to a few people at a time (go ahead and brush your shoulders off) the problem with this is that we find often like different pieces of each person that we wish we could put into someone else. currently im drawing up plans on how to put one girls brain into another ones body. i would have the perfect girl then and be ridiculously happy but alas thats not possible, well for me. its like do you keep juggling these pieces of people and getting what you need from each one or do you accept shortcomings in order to be happy with the pieces? i wanna drop this one girl and focus on the two that im uber physically attracted to but at the end of the day ill just have a pretty face and a slap yo mama body to look at but nothing to talk about. my personality is a lot but damn even i cant be entertained by talking to myself. no one wants to feel like theyre settling but sometimes you have to remove the physical from a situation and accept people for who they are. dont abandon your standards but look at the person because beauty fades and you cant look at them 24/7. now dont give up on the good looking ones but dont sit around waiting fro them to magically get a brain from the wizard. now this one girl i would lick the color off her skin she is so fine but she doesnt give me the same vibe. im not letting her go but eye candy can sometimes give u a toothache. at the end of the day a relationship is communication and sometimes those text from that not so cute one can be the ones to brighten your day. im still seeking a scientist to do this brain transplant but until then enjoy people wfor who they are and what they can give you emotionally, physically, and spiritually even if its nots all from the same person

Well this is a question i get a lot....a mans heart and penis are closely connected so it can often be hard to determine which he is using when it comes to his interactions with a woman. one big clue is if he only contacts you during certain hours. if you never talk to this man before free minutes start hes not really into you as a person he just likes the sex. if he never calls only text then you might just be a jumpoff. if you all cant have a conversation or just chill without sex popping off hes not interested. most men are pretty simple especially those in their 20s. if he calls you just to talk or text you in the middle of the day just because he actually likes talking to you and values your opinion he probably sees you as more than just a booty call. if he actually takes you out on dates and doesnt mind having you around his friends or family he likes you as a person. the easiest way to tell is stop sleeping with him. if you can still find him then it wasnt just the sex. now if you cut him off from the cookies and he still treats you the same he might be a keeper. if you are content with letting him drop something off in your draws from time to time and are not really interested in a relationship with him then the situation is easier but if you genuinely like this person then you have to learn to separate the sex from the man especially if its good because sometimes a woman gets dickmatized and loses all her good sense. also sometimes you just have to ask. im pretty straightfoward in relationships so its easy for me to just say "look nigga do you like me, could you see yourself in a relaionship with me or do you just like to get it in?" if thats not your style then you can lead him in with questions such as "do you see yourself being in a relationship" "have you met any girls that youve taken an interest in" now only ask these questions if you are truly emotionally prepared for the answer because he may just very well say yes im having sex with you but i really wanna wife so and so. this hurts like hell if you really like someone so only ask if you are ready for the truth. if not then let it simmer and follow the subtle hints. also male pride and ego are extreme just because he acts jealous about other guys doesnt necessarily mean he wants to be with you hes just territorial and claims you as his even if hes only interested in cleaning the nappy dugout (im sorry but i love metaphors for sex and vagina) the best advice i can give for getting a guy to be interested in you is just be yourself. if you pretend to be someone else that man will fall for who he thinks you are and not who you truly are and thats not real love. he will eventually see through you and that will never end well. stay who you are and the right man will find you. hope this helps now get out there and grab up one of the few acceptable men there are left!
